The K-pop and soccer worlds have collided in an unexpected—but amazing—way!
Ever since TXT made their comeback with their catchy new title track “Sugar Rush Ride” last week, lots of other idols and celebrities have been getting in on their new #SugarRushRideChallenge—but no one could have expected the latest challengers to join in on the fun.
On February 5, TXT surprised fans by posting several videos of themselves dancing to their new hit with members of the South Korean national football team, including Cho Gue Sung and Paik Seung Ho, who recently skyrocketed to fame by scoring goals during the 2022 World Cup.
The Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors Football Club also posted a fun video of the soccer players “introducing” the TXT members’ song on its official TikTok account, along with some behind-the-scenes footage of the athletes learning the choreography.
