Will Son Hyun Joo and Jang Seung Jo be able to recognize the serial killer Kim In Kwon in “The Good Detective 2”?
The first season of “The Good Detective” starring Son Hyun Joo, Jang Seung Jo, and Lee Elijah was about the realistic lives of police detectives in their quest to uncover the truth and their conflicts with those who try to conceal it.
In the second season, Son Hyun Joo and Jang Seung Jo will reprise their roles as Kang Do Chang and Oh Ji Hyuk and the good detectives of the Violent Crimes Team two will use only the truth to go up against ambitious villains who cross the line.
“The Good Detective 2” kicked off with a mysterious “white gown serial killer” who would put a white gown on his dead victim and messily apply bright red lipstick on her lips. There have already been five victims, and towards the end of the second episode, the drama gave a glimpse of the murderer (Kim In Kwon).
Ahead of the next episode, the drama’s production team shared new stills of Kang Do Chang, Oh Ji Hyuk, and the serial killer. The three of them meet in a bus, but judging from the way the two detectives are chatting casually with him, it seems as if they haven’t recognized who he is yet. The murderer, who enjoyed watching his victims die in pain, wears an innocent mask on his face that hides his chilly madness.
The drama’s producers remarked, “Today (August 6), Kang Do Chang and Oh Ji Hyuk will meet the real killer. It will be a decisive scene that shows he’s not an easy opponent. Please wait and see why these three people met and whether the results will lead to the arrest of the real criminal.”
Episode 3 of “The Good Detective 2” will air on August 6 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
