tvN’s “Twenty Five, Twenty One” has revealed new stills ahead of tonight’s episode!
Set in 1998, “Twenty Five, Twenty One” stars Kim Tae Ri as Na Hee Do, an aspiring fencing athlete, and Nam Joo Hyuk as Baek Yi Jin, whose family was torn apart due to the financial crisis.
In the previous episode, Na Hee Do asked Baek Yi Jin to read a broadcasting script like in the old days. When he sat in front of the microphone, Baek Yi Jin delighted Na Hee Do by expressing his sympathy for the students who were preparing for their college entrance exams. Later on, Na Hee Do sat with her friends and watched the fireworks as she said, “Thank you for gifting me a day like today.” Baek Yi Jin’s playful reaction to her words captured the hearts of viewers everywhere.
New stills show Na Hee Do stumbling upon Baek Yi Jin’s meeting with an unfamiliar man. Baek Yi Jin engages in a verbal argument with the mysterious person and Na Hee Do, shocked by what she hears, covers her mouth and stands as still as a statue behind the wall. The reason behind Baek Yi Jin’s anger and Na Hee Do’s surprise remain to be seen.
It’s said that when Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk filmed this scene, they focused on the small details in their body language and movements to convey their emotions. Hwa & Dam Pictures commented, “Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk are bringing a high degree of perfection to each scene through their keen analysis of their characters, persistent hard work, and close teamwork. Tune into episode 12 to find out what kind of crisis the pair run into as they continue to build memories and their relationship.”
