If it hadn’t been for her “All of Us Are Dead” co-star Yoon Chan Young, Park Ji Hu may not have ended up at her current college!
On the latest episode of JTBC’s “Knowing Bros” (also known as “Ask Us Anything”), Park Ji Hu made a guest appearance alongside several other cast members from the hit zombie series “All of Us Are Dead.”
After graduating from high school last month, Park Ji Hu recently joined Yoon Chan Young as a freshman at Hanyang University, where—just like her older co-star—she will be a theatre and film major.
During the show, the “Knowing Bros” cast brought up the fact that Park Ji Hu and Yoon Chan Young were now attending the same college, and Yoon Chan Young explained that while he enrolled in 2020, he is currently a sophomore because he took a year off from school.
Park Ji Hu then shared that she had actually decided to apply to Hanyang University because of Yoon Chan Young.
The actress recalled, “Chan Young always wore his Hanyang theatre and film department jacket, which has the words ‘Hanyang Theatre and Film’ emblazoned on it, to the filming set. At first, I wondered, ‘Why does he keep wearing that jacket? Is it really warm, or does he want to show off?’ But the more I saw it, the jacket looked so pretty, and since Chan Young kept talking about Hanyang University and selling me on how great it was, I became interested in the school.”
“So when I was applying to college, I chose Hanyang University,” she continued, “and [Chan Young] was really happy.”
At another point in the show, Yoon Chan Young surprised the “Knowing Bros” cast by revealing that his on-screen kiss with Park Ji Hu in “All of Us Are Dead” was also his first kiss in real life.
