Oh My Girl’s Hyojung has tested positive for COVID-19.
On February 23, WM Entertainment released the following statement:
Hello.
This is WM Entertainment.
We are informing you that Oh My Girl’s Hyojung tested positive for COVID-19.
On February 22, member Hyojung tested positive through a test she preemptively carried out using a self-testing kit, so she immediately carried out a PCR test and received a positive test result for COVID-19 this morning (February 23).
Hyojung has completed three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and she has currently halted all activities and is taking rest and the necessary measures in keeping with guidelines set by government health authorities.
The agency will consider the health and safety of the artist as priority, and we will do our best so that she can focus on treatment and recovery.

Previously, it was announced that Oh My Girl is preparing to return with a new album in March. On February 22, Hyojung was unable to participate in the broadcast of MBC FM4U’s “Dreaming Radio” after testing positive using a self-testing kit.
